Lip Blush Before & After

What is lip blush?

Lip Blush Tattoo is a form of micropigmentation of the lips. This treatment is ideal for people who want to look polished and rejuvenated without having to apply makeup every morning. It is a safe, non-invasive procedure to create the effect of fuller more plump and defined lips that look natural, as if you were born that way.

How do you choose the colour of the lipstick tattoo?

If you have a favourite lipstick in mind, you can totally take this to your appointment as an example. It's always best to start off subtle, as colours can then be intensified over time and at touch-up appointments if desired. However, we've started to see people going bolder which can look really effective.

What colour will my lips be after a lip blush tattoo?

At your appointment we will discuss options and which colours suit you based on your natural lip colour. We will discuss the look you wish to achieve and then create a custom colour best suited for your individual desired outcome .Once your lips have healed, you can still enhance or change the colour of your lips at anytime with conventional makeup. Your new lip tattoo is designed to act as a base, so it doesn’t mean you should throw out your lippy collection!

What to expect right after your appointment?

Your lips will look darker and more like lipstick on the first day, and soften as they heal to become a subtle, natural looking lip tint. There will be moderate swelling and redness for the first 5 days. Colour may appear uneven at different stages of the healing process, please be patient as this is a process that does not yield immediate results.

Expect the colour to eventually lighten by up to 60% once the healing process is complete.

How long does it last?

Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and touch up, your results should last 2 to 5 years. Additional touch ups may be required depending on the person and the look desired.

Permanent makeup ink is not the same as body art ink, and by design it does not last as long as body art ink.

How long does the procedure take and what should I expect?

The procedure takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The consultation and prep work take a good portion of that time. We only start the procedure once we have discussed all concerns and drawn out a shape that we are both happy with and on the same page before we start to lip blush. Once we are both happy we will go ahead and start the numbing process which is around 35mins then we will start the lip blush.

Does Lip blushing hurt?

Pain levels vary from person to person. Strong medical grade topical aesthetic cream is used before and during your procedure to keep you as pain free as possible.
